Greetings from Joan Maloney Chrane! Joan is a past president of the Maine Association of Realtors and continues to participate as a member of the Past Presidents Committee, Technology Change Committee, and the Government and Political Affairs Committee. On the national level was Chairperson of the Board Leadership State Forum and has served on both the Strategic Thinking Committee and the Business Issues Committee. She is presently a member of the Public Policy Coordinating Committee and the Environment and Land Use Committee. Locally, Joan was President of the Merrymeeting Board of Realtors in 1999 and was voted Realtor of the Year in 1997. Community involvement includes being an active member of the United Way, Chairing the 2002 fund raising campaign and serving on the Board of Directors since 1994. Involvement in local land trust preservation is ongoing and she is a member of the Comprehensive Planning Sprawl Task Force for Phippsburg. Joan graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration in 1989. She has been practicing real estate since 1986 and has been a top producer ever since. Joan resides in Phippsburg with her husband Stephen Chrane, owner of Industrial Concrete Services, and has one son, Michael, a graduate of CAL Berkeley.
